About John
In April 2009 John established PetBuds of Champlain Valley.
As a child, John had fond memories of a Collie named Dieto. As he tells it, "Dieto was a remarkable dog. She would walk us to school everyday and pick us up after we were let out for the day. Without fail, she would be there for us. I will never forget her paternal instincts and care for us. She taught me a lot about what it meant to nurture. Dieto taught me about the value of the relationships with dogs and their companions.”

John gained experience handling and caring for 20 rescue dogs during a northern Vermont apprenticeship. He lived at a training facility in northern Vermont logging more than 1200 hours under the supervision of world-renowned trainer and animal behaviorist. His experience at the training facility gave him the knowledge and rational for establishing PetBuds.
Mission
PetBuds hopes to help our dog owner become the best companion for their dog that they can be. We provide dog care service in the client's home to relieve your stress when life becomes overwhelmingly busy.
